Today I was so excited to finally receive my package from Nasty Gal, not that they took long, I just don't like waiting. I cannot wait to incorporate these new pieces into my wardrobe, they are a little out of my comfort zone but I am confident that I can make them work.

There is no doubt about it, that this shirt is a favorite of mine. Soon after purchasing it from Walmart for $7.00, this has easily become a go to piece for me. This shirt goes with everything and adds a bit of edge to an other wise boring outfit. Prior to becoming acquainted to the clearance rack in Walmart, I was constantly searching for a vintagy style band tee and this fits the mold completely. Kept everything else pretty simple and threw on my knee high boots for an added something.

I've had this shirt for months and this is only the second time that I am wearing it, the whole time it just sat in my closet going further back into it as I continuously skimmed over it day after day. I finally got a proper wear out of it, I've always thought of pairing it with a skirt but instead of reaching for my favorite over the knee boots, I reached for my combat ones. Just to be a little unexpected.

I took this picture on New Years Eve, I really just wanted to showcase the ring but it came out looking like I was saying peace out, and I loved it. So with that said, peace out 2011, hello 2012, I am so ready for this year.
